I began an 11×14 inch painting. It seems positively minute compared to the 15x22inch paintings I have been doing. I am having a lot of fun with the leaves!
My Father-In-Law loves to grow morning glories and I got the photo I am working from at his place a few years ago. Thanks for the inspiration Don!
Day 19 completed. I can’t believe that it is day 20 tomorrow.
The detail on your leaves is amazing Shawna! I have to say that seeing the Morning Glory given respect and treated like a thing of beauty in the Northern Hemisphere has transformed my view of them somewhat. Unfortunately, they are an invasive species over here and are often seen in degraded land choking everything else in sight, so it had been hard to see through to their prettiness! You’re doing a great job on the challenge!

Ah we struggle to grow them in Yellowknife because it isn’t warm enough for long enough. And there is one good thing about winter it kills them dead! 🙂 So what you need is a really good cold snap! 😉
