After a very busy visit I am sitting at the computer with a glass of wine looking out at the very blustery rainy cold (9c) day that it is outside…what a shock it is after being 31C just two days ago. Now to get myself sorted and in motion again.
Don and I drove 1500 km from Edmonton to Yellowknife…but we had to take him to the real end of the highway! Here is Ian and Don at the literal end…there is nothing but a lake beyond. 😉
And it was 31C!
Remember you can win a 5×7 painting by commenting, or signing up for my blog, or signing up for my Art Newsletter. So many options and I am needing to paint a few 5×7 paintings…can’t wait to get back to painting!!!!
See you on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend.
What a drive that must have been! Are there many towns or villages along the way? You must have a big gas tank so as not to run out. I am such a southerner…

Yes there are towns along the way and gas stations too! We stopped along the way to take reference photos for Don to paint with.

I Love travelling to the end of roads! We drove all the way to Inuvik & back in 2004 when we drove the Dempster Highway. What an adventure!
